For the entire month of December we will have the amazing artwork of Jennifer Higby hanging on our walls! Come in and check out her work, you wont be disappointed!
Jennifer Higby is a freelance artist accepting commissions for custom art work. She is a Colorado native who completed numerous advanced placement art classes throughout high school, earned her Associates of Fine Arts, taking classes at both Arapahoe Community College and Metro State and is currently working towards her Bachelors in Art Education, with hopes of sharing her knowledge of art with students. Her passion comes from the freedom and comfort she gained from her experiences with art throughout her life.
Jennifer has shown her work in numerous shows throughout the metro area over the past 15 years earning awards and establishing her name as an artist in the community.
As an artist, Jennifer works with graphite, ink, collage and paint, with an emphasis in portrait work. She has currently completed a number of portraits of significant contributors to music and film. She has also completed numerous personal and pet portraits and can provide references concerning her work. Jennifer’s work can be seen in numerous private collections and she enjoys showing her work in small businesses and restaurants throughout Colorado. Jennifer is currently working toward building a strong collection of artwork to pursue gallery shows throughout art districts in the metro area.
Many of her pieces are available in limited edition, signed giclee prints. She is also accepting commissioned requests for artwork.
